Pictures from Back East Travel

Been busy today adding pictures to the gallery from our trip back east. These are mostly the ones John and I took with our camera. I've got a ton more but they are on a CD and I can't get my computer to believe it's not a floppy I am putting in there so they are being held hostage. I've got a ton from the family reunion where she has the cutest yellow dress that Grandma gave her on. She almost looks like a little flower, like an tulip I think. Click on the photo below, there are 3 new galleries I've added.

In The Pool

Took the camera with us today and got a bunch of photos. We have 2 other people in the class, another girl who's 8 months and a boy, Theo, who is 7 months. They've got hand control, but we are still cuter !

Too Many Pictures – Too Little Time

I've been neglect in updating the journal and uploading pictures so I'm doing both. There are a few new pictures in the gallery, be sure to click on the second page. Started back to bowling, got a new job and still swimming with the munchkin. She's getting big and we have our 4 month visit in a few weeks - WOW can you believe it.

It was miss Viv's first swimming class today. She's is a seahorse at a le petit dauphin, which is a salt water pool in Beaverton. They usually wait until they are 16 weeks, but I mentioned she's good in the water/bath and I was a water baby too, so they let me start her a few weeks earlier.

She had an absolute blast! At first she was just looking around trying to figure out what was going on, but then she was giggling and wiggling about. She went under the water about a dozen times and only squeaked a little once, towards the end of the lesson. We ended up hanging in the pool for another 5/10 mins after class floating on her back. She likes that she can see me and had a big smile.

The class uses songs (10 Little Monkeys, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, London Bridges, Ol' McDonald, Wheels on the Bus and more) with water games to teach the kids to swim. She's got 9 more classes and we'll see how she's digging it.

I'll get pictures next time when John comes with too.
